About The Foundation

"In the current testing times, when key and accessible support for the most vulnerable is limited, the Foundation is launching The Tim Henman Foundation Outreach Online. This Outreach Experience initially for Primary@Home and Primary@School will help students and teachers stay topical, be fulfilled, and have fun with some extra special challenges from some very special people. The Foundation has had significant impact and developed its identity over the last five years. Part of this is a result of the quality work of our educational delivery partners several of whom have teamed up with us through THFonline."

In association with Sublime Science, we are delighted to offer our favourite fun science experiments you can do at home, from Dragons' Den winner and Sublime Science founder, Mad Marc! Designed to educate your child using only everyday items you already have in the house, these experiments will teach your child how to apply elements of the scientific method to enable them to acquire knowledge of the natural world – not just in the lab, or classroom – but outside it too. As well as helping children learn some super-fun science, these experiments will also encourage them to develop:

  1. Curiosity
  2. Confidence
  3. Critical Thinking
  4. Creativity
  5. Communication

So many parents have asked for awesome experiments to keep the kids occupied, entertained and learning over these summer months. So to help, we’re sharing our Ultimate Summer Science Experiments programme with you!

HSBC Golf Roots is the Golf Foundation’s national development programme that makes the benefits of golf available to young people. HSBC Golf Roots is the Golf Foundation’s national development programme that makes the benefits of golf available to all young people, irrespective of their gender or background. We believe golf is a fantastic, FUN and INCLUSIVE sport for young people and learning to play the game can be a life-changing and ENRICHING experience. This is why we work with schools, community organisations and golf clubs to give young people their first introduction to the game and then encourage them to keep playing and developing the skills for life golf teaches them. We want to INSPIRE young people to play golf which is why we created INNOVATIVE adapted equipment and resources to help teachers and PGA coaches to introduce the sport to young people of all ages and abilities.
